For general inquiries, we only require a person’s full name and email address. A message is also commonly included, and a phone number is optional unless it is specifically required for a travel insurance inquiry. We use that information to contact the person and respond to their request.
How we use your information
When someone sends us an inquiry, we use the information they provide to review the request, prepare a response, and follow up by email or phone. In most cases, we do not keep that information beyond what is necessary to answer the inquiry and maintain our records.
Newsletter signups
If a user signs up for our newsletter, the information is stored in Resend, which is the platform we use to manage communications and send newsletters. We only retain that information for the purpose of sending newsletters and managing the subscription.
Cookies and analytics
We ask for cookie permission because we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and improve the experience. We do not use cookies or tracking tools without consent, and you can manage your preferences from the cookie banner.
Travel insurance forms
Travel insurance inquiries may require additional personal information beyond the standard inquiry fields so that we can assess the request accurately and provide the correct support.
Retention and security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold and to limit access to authorized staff. Inquiry information is kept only for as long as needed to respond to the request, manage follow-up, and maintain our records. For newsletter subscriptions, information remains while the subscription is active and is removed when the user unsubscribes or requests deletion. We do not keep personal information longer than necessary for the purpose it was collected, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your rights
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or request deletion, subject to any legal requirements that may require us to keep certain records.
